We take on as much as you need. We can do only the covering on an existing frame, only the structure for a future roof, or everything from the excavation. Combining trades usually works out better, because nobody waits on anybody and there is no argument over who is responsible where the trades meet — but that is your call, not a condition.
Yes, the telehandler and the excavator are hired out with an operator, by the hour or by the day. The Manitou lifts material to 17 m at up to 4000 kg, and the Volvo excavator handles excavation, levelling and demolition. Travel counts in the price, so it helps to give the location up front.
A typical detached house usually runs two to three weeks, from stripping the old covering through to guttering. A covering swap without touching the structure comes down to about a week. Replacing individual rotten frame members adds a few days, but it can usually be done without taking the whole roof off.
It happens, which is why we look into the loft during the survey before giving a price. If something still only shows up after opening the roof, we call and send photos before adding anything to the scope. No line item appears on the account without your agreement.
For repairs, flashing and carpentry, yes. Coverings and underlays have their own minimum installation temperatures, so we do not start large roofs in frost and rain. Emergencies — torn sheeting, a leak, a damaged chimney — we make safe at any time of year, because there the clock matters more than the weather.
Our core area is Łowinek, the Pruszcz district and the Świecie county, and we regularly go to Świecie, Bydgoszcz, Grudziądz and Chełmno. On larger jobs the travel is not an issue — for a small repair it is worth asking, because sometimes someone local works out cheaper and we will say so.
